South West Fabrications provides in-house surface preparation to ensure components are clean, uniform and ready for finishing. This critical step removes contaminants such as oil, scale, and oxidation, improving the adhesion of powder coating, paint and other surface treatments. Our process includes degreasing, mechanical abrasion and cleaning methods tailored to suit the material and application.
Surface preparation is fully integrated into our fabrication workflow, supporting both mild and stainless steel, as well as aluminium. By controlling this stage internally, we ensure consistent results, reduce turnaround times, and enhance the long-term durability and appearance of every finished component.
